Job Description

Thomson Reuters is looking to add a Senior Process Associate. This challenging position requires someone to think independently, work well collaboratively across multiple disciplines, including working with a variety of tax domains . It is an opportunity to work for a great company with smart people on large systems that are used worldwide

About the Role:

  • To Prepare Federal, State & City tax returns within timeframe.
  • Rectification of work as per instruction provided by reviewer.
  • To prepare in-house training material.
  • To help team members in resolving their Tax related queries.
  • To undergo induction / tax update training as per the requirements.
  • To complete verification of documents in SPbinder, if required.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
  • Designs tax and/or legal forms that comply with specifications and established forms guidelines.
  • Develop dimensioned objects, scenarios, functions and scripts.
  • Identify and resolve issues and errors and provide recommendations on enhancements.
  • Test own work.
  • May provide input on improvement of processes and procedures to drive quality and efficiency.
  • Maintains the integrity and completeness of work product.
  • Identifies and resolves problems and initiates escalation of more complex issues.

About You:


  • Minimum of 3+ years experience US Taxation.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Should be well-versed with US /Indian Taxation
  • Should have good communication skills and Interpersonal skills.
  • Should have Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Sound work exposure of Taxation.
  • Knowledge of Tax Rates, tax laws
  • Client Interaction Skills required.
  • B. Com Graduate (M.Com Preferred)
