We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Software Engineer with a deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, development, and integration, as well as a strong record of delivering scalable solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Provide technical guidance on Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and integration strategies.
- Review and approve code to maintain quality standards and adherence to best practices.
- Design and implement scalable, robust Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Develop custom applications and integrations using Salesforce technologies (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, etc.).
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture, design specifications, and user guides.
- Collaborate with product and project managers to define project scope and timelines.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to clarify technical concepts and project status.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to meet project deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce declarative development, code development, and architecture.
- Proven experience in technical leadership.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Expertise in Salesforce data models, security, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Data Cloud, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment.
- Salesforce Administrator certification; Salesforce Architect certification preferred.
- User-centric mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of other CRM platforms and integration experience.
- Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of business processes in sales, marketing, and customer service.
