Overview
We are looking for a passionate and responsible Software Developer with at least
5+ years of experience and expertise with
PHP and
3+ years of experience in
Laravel to join our team, who should be able to create a functional and attractive platform while mentoring the team members and ensuring great user experience.
Key results
- Connect with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide better solutions.
- Able to solve potential problems.
- Writing reusable code considering edge cases and unpredictable user behaviour.
- Design thinking and building solutions with scalability and stability in mind.
- Taking ownership of the projects/workstreams and managing it end-to-end.
Key activities
- Building features from scratch and improving the existing ones in PHP/Laravel
- Writing quality code with proper documentation/comments and best practices
- Reviewing code for team members and keeping them motivated
- Communicating the work progress with manager and other stakeholders as applicable
- Performing other relevant day to day operational tasks
Areas Of Responsibilities
- The assigned projects from end-to-end
- Communication from the design phase/requirements to announcing the launch
- Being a team player or working independently as applicable.
- Supporting team members, helping them and mentoring them when needed
Critical factors for success
- 5+ years of software development experience in PHP
- 3-4 years of experience with Laravel
- Excellent understanding/experience working with MySQL, OOPS
- Seamless communication with your manager and other team members
- System Design experience would be preferred
- Ability to take leadership/ownership in ambiguous situations, even when unsupervised
- Close alignment with RL's core values and principles
