Senior PHP Developer

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop, design and maintain web applications and API using PHP/Laravel

Perform functional (system functionalities) and non-functional (usability, reliability) system testing and reporting of errors and bugs

• System analysis for additional and existing app functionalities

Implement solutions to product environment

• Contribute to ensuring high quality of code by following best practices

Investigate & provide quick and efficient technical assistance/solution to users

• Proactively report any potential issue on the development

Provide support to development project throughout the project life cycle.

You are also encouraged to bring fresh ideas to optimise the system. The project that you will be involved in is a Function as a Service microservices platform for SMEs starting with Malaysia.

• What you will need to succeed

Have a degree/diploma in Computer Science or IT related fields

• Have at least 4 years of working experience in backend programming

Familiar with RESTful API and web technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, SCAP API

• Familiar with API integration, LAMP, WAMP and/or XAMPP

Basic knowledgeable with HTML, JAVASCRIPT/JQUERY AND CSS

• Framework: Laravel, Symfony for PHP

Skilful in either of the following: MySQL and MSSQL

• Knowledgeable in mobile website optimisation and relational database

Have a good understanding and experience in responsive web design

• Knowledgeable in frontend (design, interface) and backend (backend server and application side) is added advantage

• Personal Attributes:

Detail-oriented, able to execute tasks quickly and handle stress

• Positive attitude towards learning new technology
