Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services with existing applications.
- Ensure seamless data flow and interaction between different systems and applications.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement caching strategies to improve application speed and responsiveness.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development.
- Extensive experience with the Symfony framework.
- Must have knowledge of PHP 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 versions.
- Proficient in Elasticsearch.
- Intermediate experience in Symfony.
- Advanced MySQL queries.
- AWS cloud knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in database management and optimization.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
