Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join our team in Ahmedabad. As a Payroll Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll operations across the Australian region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regional regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher with a commerce background to start their career in payroll and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employees across the APAC region, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regional labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in legislation and adjust payroll practices accordingly.
- Data Management: Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and benefits. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Reporting: Prepare and generate payroll reports, including salary summaries, tax reports, and compliance documentation for internal and external audits.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related queries or discrepancies from employees. Provide support and clarification on payroll processes and policies.
- Coordination: Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate integration of payroll data with other financial systems and processes.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of payroll documentation, including contracts, salary adjustments, and benefit changes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: prior experience in International Payroll.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of payroll concepts and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Preferred Attributes:
- Familiarity with Australian Payroll.
- Basic knowledge of Australian regional labor laws and regulations.
