We are seeking an experienced US Payroll Accountant to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.
How will you make an impact
- Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries - processed twice a month.
- System Management: Update the payroll system (ADP) and other external providers on New Hires, Terms and variables (bonuses, commissions, overtime etc.).
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, compensation details, tax withholdings, and benefits information. Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.
- Employee Services: Support, manage and resolve US employee s payroll related queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Review and Reconciliations: Conduct Bi-monthly reviews and reconciliations of payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Projects and Audits: Assist with special projects, year-end reconciliation, W-2 s and audits.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Prepare and submit required payroll reports and filings, including tax withholdings, social security, unemployment, and other regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends and changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other business processes and systems.
Have you got what it takes
- Education: Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of US payroll laws and regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software - ADP a must and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with payroll system implementations and upgrades is a plus.
- Time Zone: Support US time zone

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred but not required.
