AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The APN includes tens of thousands of consulting partners, systems-integrators, technology partners, ISVs, distributors, and value-added resellers that are using AWS as their cloud delivery platform around the world.
As the India Partner Program Manager, you will own, define and execute the regional strategy and the development of scalable programs that transform and support the AWS Consulting partners, AWS distribution partner and VAR ecosystem. The candidate will lead the Solution Provider Program (SPP). SPP is AWS's partner resell program and is an integral member of the APN channel program team. The role will set the SPP strategy, and focus on the development and growth of SPPs across India working closely with the AWS Partner Development organisation and SPP partners to grow revenue and accelerate cloud adoption. This role requires the candidate to easily converse in a range of subjects such as sales, marketing, reseller margin, legal, and operational conversations, and be a strong and clear communicator to partners and internal teams. Your strong channel and distribution background will enable you to lead executive planning and the build of value proposition and differentiation efforts, investment and resource planning. To execute the plan, you will work closely with the WW and APAC channel teams, partner and sales field teams, AWS consulting partners, distributors and VARs to support joint sales engagement.
The India Partner Program Manager can effectively influence both technical and non-technical audiences up to the senior executive level.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and lead the strategy of partner program and business in India
- Collaborate with APAC and Global teams and provide regional inputs
- Lead the strategy in terms of selecting and launching a new partners
- Work across regional alliance teams to build an ecosystem of strategic partners that add significant value to AWS Channel Partners
- Develop structured processes around onboarding, enabling and supporting partners for business and operations
- Engage with CXOs and key partner executives and advise them on business strategy
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Partner programs for the regional AWS executives.
- Serve as a key member of the regional AWS Channel Programs Team in defining and delivering the overall go-to-market strategy
- Own all reporting of your segment, participating in regular business reviews with leadership and stakeholders.
- Utilize salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems to track key performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in the technology sector
- Significant channel and/or distributor experience. Particularly in partner development, business development, product marketing, or program/product management.
- Executive presentation skills and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience building and executing go-to-market initiatives at scale
- Experience managing change in a highly dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Indian consulting and distribution partners
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with abiguity. Have the ability to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment.
- Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and drive to meet ambitious goals
- Experience managing complex programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgement
- Experience with cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving, and have a bias for action
