Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS Finance Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Oracle EBS modules related to finance, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Cash Management. The role involves custom development, ongoing support, incident handling, and database administration to enhance business processes and integrations with third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Module Management and Optimization:
- Oversee and optimize the functionality of Oracle EBS finance modules: Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), and Cash Management (CM).
- Custom Development:
- Design and implement custom enhancements to meet business needs. This includes developing new functions, creating integrations, and generating custom reports as required.
- Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support for existing functions, both seeded and custom, within the Oracle EBS environment.
- Maintain smooth integrations with third-party applications, specifically core insurance systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Incident Handling:
- Manage and resolve incidents related to EBS modules, integrations, reporting systems, and custom functions promptly.
- Ensure minimal disruption to financial operations through effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Database Administration:
- Provide on-demand support for database management tasks, ensuring database performance and security.
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain database integrity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing Oracle EBS modules for finance, with a strong understanding of financial processes and integrations.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems within Oracle EBS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle EBS certification.
- Experience with ERP systems integration with third-party applications, especially in the insurance sector.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the finance or insurance industry.
