Job Description
**Hybrid - onsite 1 week per month in either New Jersey or North Carolina.**
Our financial services client is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join their team.
We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $68.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Requirements Of The Senior Oracle Database Engineer
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- At least 8 years of experience in Oracle database development and design
- At least 3 years of experience working in a Unix/Linux environment including basic shell scripting
- Experience building both OLTP and Warehousing applications in Oracle
- Experience with the financial domain
- Advanced skills in data analysis, design, integration, and development
- Skilled in Performance tuning
- Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL
- Proficient in using roles and privileges to restrict access to DB objects
- Good knowledge of Oracle commands such as SQL PLUS and SQL Loader
- Basic database administration knowledge
- Ability to Trouble Shoot queries/stored procedures/triggers
