Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect Oracle databases for enterprise applications ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with application developers and solution architects to translate business requirements into database designs.
- Implement database performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring strategies.
- Develop and enforce database best practices, security policies, and data retention strategies.
- Conduct database upgrades, migrations, and backup/recovery strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Architect, with expertise in designing databases for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
- Experience with high availability (RAC, Data Guard) and scalability techniques.
- Familiarity with database security, backup/recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
