Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations and ensure efficient functioning across all departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a strategic mindset to optimize processes and enhance productivity. This is a dual role encompassing both operational excellence and strategic assistance. You will work directly with the founding team to setup processes and function and helping in facilitating effective communication across the organization.

Job Description

Position: Senior Operations Manager

Location: Mumbai

Minimum Qualification: Master's degree in business administration with finance, engineering, accounting, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial services or corporate lending.

CTC: 15-16 LPA to best in Industry with benefits

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

1.Operational Leadership:

  • Work on end-to-end process of corporate loan operations from onboarding to loan disbursement to collections, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the founders and both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and clear communication.
  • Work on cross-functional projects from conception through to execution, ensuring they meet all milestones and deliverables.
  • Anticipate, identify, and proactively manage potential challenges and risks, employing excellent problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.

2.Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with overall business strategy.
  • Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

3.Loan Processing and Underwriting:

  • Oversee the end-to-end loan processing workflow, ensuring timely and accurate loan approvals and disbursements.
  • Implement and monitor underwriting guidelines and credit policies to assess and mitigate risk.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

4.Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge in loan operations and customer service.
  • Perform performance evaluations and provide feedback to drive team and individual development.

5.Process Optimization and Quality Assurance:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline loan processing and servicing workflows.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive process improvements.

6.Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communication and resolving operational issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement customer service protocols to enhance the customer experience.
  • Handle escalations and complex cases, ensuring positive resolutions.

7.Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all loan operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry trends.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage comprehensive projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of synthesizing complex data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
