Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Operations Executive to lead our purchasing, inventory management, and fulfillment operations for our toy brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and operations, with a proven track record of optimizing processes and driving efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing and Procurement:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to source high-quality materials and components for toy production at competitive prices.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships to address any issues or concerns and drive continuous improvement.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and optimization to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Implement inventory control measures and systems to track and manage inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Fulfillment Operations:
- Manage the fulfillment process, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to prioritize orders and meet customer expectations.
- Implement best practices and standards for warehouse operations to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, fostering collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and assessments to evaluate quality, delivery, and service levels, and drive supplier improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, supply chain management, or logistics, preferably in the consumer goods or toy industry.
- Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory management, and fulfillment processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
