Job Description
Responsibilities
Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and products
Perform routine maintenance checks on cranes and report any malfunctions or defects
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while operating cranes
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to facilitate the efficient flow of materials
Follow work orders and instructions to prioritize tasks and handle materials accordingly
Maintain accurate records of crane operations and inspections
Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety awareness
Qualifications
Education Qualification
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification required
Valid Crane Operator certification
Any additional safety certifications will be an advantage
Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Crane Operator in the Metal, Chemical, and Copper industry
Demonstrated track record of operating a variety of cranes, including overhead cranes and mobile cranes
Proven ability to adhere to safety protocols and regulations
