- Roles and Responsibilities:*
Extensive experience with NodeJS. You are comfortable with the ins and outs of NodeJS from libraries and debugging tools to caches, thread-pools/event loops, and memory management.
A passion for shipping. Bonus points for Trunk Based Development. CI/CD is your default. Putting code live every day is standard practice.
Database performance and optimization skills, especially in MySQL. You can walk us through all the steps in a large query and tell us in which order they are executed and how to optimize the execution path. Explain it to your friend.
A Best tool for the job mentality. You are not a zealot and know that having a hammer does not make everything a nail. You are not afraid to try something new and know how to build consensus and knowledge in the team for new tech and concepts.
