Senior Node.js Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Node.js developer to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js developer, you will be responsible for developing server-side logic, defining and maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. A successful Node.js developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing code.

1. Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js.
2. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
3. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
4. Design and implement data storage solutions.
5. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
6. Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
7. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
8. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Node.js development.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Node.js Developer.
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
3. Experience with server-side frameworks such as Express.js.
4. Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
5. Strong understanding of Sequelize and Mongoose ORMs
6. Understanding of front-end technologies.
7. Knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.
8. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
9. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
11. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
