Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Node.js Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable and high-performance web services that deliver engaging user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and high-performance systems using Node.js.

- Ensure the development of reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Architect and implement backend systems with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.

- Lead the integration of server-side logic with user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.

- Design and manage API interfaces and data flow between servers and other applications.

- Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions, ensuring high availability and scalability.

- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.

- Utilize hands-on knowledge of Strapi CMS for content management solutions.

- Work with databases such as Postgres and BigQuery, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Employ Redis and various queueing systems to manage data storage and asynchronous tasks efficiently.

- Collaborate with team members to innovate and explore new technologies and practices.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of backend development experience, with a proven track record of developing scalable systems.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express.

- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of cloud services.

- Hands-on experience with Strapi CMS is highly desirable.

- Experience with databases such as PostGres and BigQuery is a plus.

- Must be fluent in managing data storage with Redis and adept at handling queues.

- Solid understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
