Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and manage network solutions involving Meraki HP and Trendnet switches in enterprise environments
- Experience and ability to configure Virtual ASA
- Experience in replacing old firewall to new firewall
- Experience in design and execute ReIP activity of entire network
- Experience and ability to configure site to site VPN
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot Cisco ASA and Fortigate firewalls ensuring network security best practices are followed
- Perform network assessments and audits to identify areas for optimization and security improvement
- Serve as the SME for network architecture providing expertlevel support to the internal teams and clients
- Develop and maintain detailed network documentation including configurations network diagrams and processes
- Manage network monitoring and ing systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT security cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless network operations
- Provide guidance on network security policies VPNs and firewall rules to protect against threats
- Mentor and provide training to junior network engineers on best practices and new technologies
- Assist in the selection and deployment of networking hardware ensuring compatibility and scalability
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in networking technologies and security protocol
Required Skills Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of handson experience in network administration and engineering
- Extensive experience with Meraki Switches including setup configuration and management
- Proven expertise in HP Switches and Trendnet Switches for enterpriselevel deployments
- Strong knowledge and experience in Cisco ASA firewall administration including configuration and security rule management
- Deep expertise in Fortigate Firewalls including experience with FortiOS VPN setups and threat protection
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols such as VLANs STP OSPF BGP TCPIP and VPN technologies
- Experience with Network Security principles including NAT firewall policies IDSIPS and SSLIPSec VPNs
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools eg SolarWinds PRTG Nagios to manage performance and uptime
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting eg Python Ansible is a plus
