Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network L3 Engineer to join our team. The Network L3 Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring that it is secure, reliable, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, with experience in both L2 and L3 technologies.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of extensive hands-on experience with Network enterprise-class firewalls, routers and switches
- Good experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Data Centre Networks utilizing industry best practices and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus 9k platforms
- Strong experience in Routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and VRF configurations.
- Strong understanding and experience in Switching protocols
- Experience with Firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet, PaloAlto etc.
- Strong Firewall knowledge (IPSEC VPN, UTM/IPS, DoS Policy, SSL inspection)
- Should have done Configuration and Management of IPSEC Site to Site VPN, Remote-access VPN & SSL VPN
- Should have strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving complex data network-related issues, and internetworking.
- Strong understanding of high-availability system configurations and design options
- Good understanding and experience in cloud networking
- Good to have deployment and migration experience in any Cloud platform
- Good experience with Load Balancers and software-defined networking is an added advantage.
- Good to have knowledge on any automation/configuration management tools such as Python, Ansible etc
- Should have used or known ITIL process (incident, problem, and change & configuration management)
- Certifications such as CCNP are preferred
- Excellent in English speaking and writing.
