Senior Network Engineer

JOB PURPOSE / ROLE: Senior Networking Engineer

Candidate should possess hands-on experience on Cisco ACI and Transmission data center inter connect. He will be responsible to support, implement, troubleshoot, maintain and document network operation manual and activities.

He will play an active role in day-to-day network operations, capacity management, resilience. He will adopt industries best practices and technologies required for Enterprise network environments

1.Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

2. Certifications:

CCIE R&S/ Data Center/ Service provider / CCNP

3. Minimum Experience:

(10- 15) years of experience in IT Networks within capital markets or banking industry or financial

institution; preferably within an exchange.

Cisco ACI expertise 2 years minimum experience.

4.Skills:

• Knowledge of DWDM, CWDM, link Power budget calculation. / Knowledge of Multiplexing of different services over Muxponders.
• Knowledge of ACI architectures, including single site, multi-pod, multi-site.
• Knowledge of ACI components (Tenant, BD, VRF, APIC, L2out and L3out), Nexus DC technologies such as vPC, VXLAN.
• Functional level knowledge of implementing ACI using infrastructure as code and automation tools

(Rest API, Ansible).

• Strong working knowledge in switching and routing domains: STP, VLAN, 802.1x, IPv6, LACP, Stacking, VRF, PBR, GRE, HSRP, secured VTI, OSPF, ISIS, BGP(iBGP, eBGP, MP-BGP), NAT, IPSec, ACL;
• Hands on experience in Cisco EnterpriseData Center Switches, Cisco Router ISRASR, CASAFirepowerFTDFPMC, FortiNetWEB, CISCOFortiNetF5 Virtual Appliance.
