We are seeking a senior network engineer who will be working on maintaining the network for our client. Our client is a major telecom service provider in India with state-of-art technology.
Essential skills and experience:
- Hands-on experience in network hardware devices from Cisco
- Be able to design, deploy, and manage secure and reliable network architectures (LAN, WLAN, WAN) to meet evolving business requirements.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot a variety of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls.
- Proactively monitor network performance and identify potential bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
- Lead and participate in network upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Automate routine network tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide technical expertise.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest network technologies and industry trends.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience is essential for this role.
Qualification:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science).
Cisco certifications such as CCNP and CCNA are essential
