About the role:
We are hiring a Sr. Systems Engineer with a focus on supporting company's ERP, NetSuite. This role will be focused on developing customizations (Suitelets, Suitescript, Workflows, etc) within NetSuite in support of our critical business processes. These processes range from Record to Report & Order to Cash processes we run on NetSuite. The individual must be competent to work with NetSuite and related modules/third-party applications and possess a well-rounded background in both business and ERP.
Alongside a team of Engineers, you will be encouraged to grow functionality holistically across the application. Engineers within the Finance Technology team are in a unique position to collaborate with other platform and integration developers working with other Best of Breed applications.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, develop, and test product features that meet business and technical requirements of NetSuite ERP modules and workflows
- Integrate NetSuite with other third-party systems using REST, SOAP web services, and APIs
- Assist in improving existing integrations with 3PL and ensure systems work optimally
- Work with Scrum Master, Product Owners, and other company stakeholders to understand business requirements, policies, and procedures
- Full lifecycle implementation of core and Advanced NetSuite modules
- Triage and correct performance and/or data integrity concerns by reviewing and evaluating code, data patches, system logs, and process/memory/disk consumption utilization.
- Help us continue to design for scale and reliability as we grow
- Detective work and problem solving, especially when the answer isn't obvious
- Solve customer (external and internal) problems. Inclined to jump on calls and interact with those directly affected by the product to make sure they're successful.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
What You Need To Have
- Bachelors or master's degree in computer science or Information Technology
- 5+ years of NetSuite Development experience
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, with a preference for hands-on implementation experience
- Must have experience with NetSuite OM, AR, Purchasing & Inventory.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and SuiteScript 1.0/2.0/2.1
- Experience in developing and managing NetSuite workflows, custom records, fields, forms, and advanced PDFs.
- Expertise in SuiteAnalytics for building custom reports, saved searches, and KPIs.
- Strong proficiency with REST, SOAP web services, and APIs for developing custom integrations with third-party systems
- NetSuite Administrator Certification or equivalent experience preferred
