Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Senior .NET Software Engineer where you will take a pivotal role in integrating API connections with major flight suppliers (LCC Airlines, NDC Channels, and GDS systems like Amadeus, Sabre, & Travelport) into our proprietary engine. This role involves both supervising and hands-on coding, where you will guide and mentor the backend development team while ensuring seamless connectivity with our new UI/UX design.
Key Responsibilities:
API Integration and Maintenance: Develop and maintain robust API integrations with flight suppliers, ensuring high reliability and performance of our travel booking engine.
Technical Supervising: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, enhancing their skills and fostering a culture of excellence.
Code Development: Participate in hands-on development, including coding (as a backend developer or full-stack developer), feature implementation, and system optimization to meet our technical and business requirements.
Quality Assurance: Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices. Contribute to the testing, debugging, and troubleshooting processes.
Project Execution: Manage the lifecycle of software projects from planning to deployment, ensuring timely delivery in alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and product managers, to deliver a cohesive and functional end product.
Performance Management and Career Development: Evaluate the performance of team members, provide constructive feedback.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development. Drive process improvements and adopt agile methodologies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
At least 5 years of experience in software development, specifically with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server);
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) is desirable;
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead in a dynamic environment;
Prior leadership or managerial experience is highly preferred;
