Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our IT team in Mumbai. As a .NET Developer you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining sophisticated applications and APIs.
You will also be responsible for:
Creating new and updating existing C# .NET, REST API, CMS (Umbraco), Blazor applications to assist in operational activity.
Comprehensive code testing coverage and promoting best practices in software development.
Analysing requirements for new and existing applications.
Implementing proposed changes including liaising with testing, release management and operations teams.
Following the Agile Methodology for software development using tools such as Azure DevOps.
Developing scalable and secure .NET solutions that meet the unique needs of the TEEG business.
Continuous improvement of new features and enhancements.
Certify that established coding standards are adhered to; contribute to enhancing existing standards.
Consistently meeting deadlines and provide a high standard for technical and design documentation.
Skills and Experience
Reporting into the Digital Technical Lead who is based in Sydney, this role is paramount to the team and has scope to grow and further develop. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging Azure cloud services.The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in full stack software development with confidence using Visual Studio, C#, and .NET Core.
Prior experience in Blazor and web development with HTML, CSS and CSS pre-processing.
Hands on experience using Umbraco is a necessity for this role, including customisation and plugins.
Strong OOP skills and Design Patterns, from design through to implementation.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud platform, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure App Insights, and Azure DevOps.
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical problem-solving capability including solution design.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
