Job Description:
We Seek A Highly Skilled Senior Microfocus Developer With Extensive Experience In Cobol, CICS, And JCL. The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Strong Background In Mainframe Development And Be Proficient In Microfocus Tools. This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Legacy Systems And The Ability To Maintain And Enhance Them Effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop, And Maintain Applications Using Microfocus Tools (Cobol, CICS, JCL).
- Analyze Business Requirements And Translate Them Into Technical Specifications.
- Debug, Test, And Deploy Applications In A Mainframe Environment.
- Optimize And Refactor Existing Code For Better Performance And Maintainability.
- Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure Seamless Integration Of Applications.
- Provide Technical Support And Troubleshooting For Existing Applications.
- Document Code Changes And Create Technical Documentation As Required.
- Mentor Junior Developers And Share Best Practices Within The Team.
