Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Order Management:

Coordinate with buyers and ensure clarity on production requirements including product specs and timeline

Monitor the approval process for materials, trims, and accessories to ensure on-time availability

Ensure all critical paths are managed effectively from order confirmation to shipment

Ensure PCD are met as per TNA

Data & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all production data, including order details, material requisitions, and delivery dates

Ensure proper documentation of production schedules, order confirmations, and shipping arrangements

Manage reports on production efficiency, capacity utilization, and on-time deliveries

Cost Management

Assist in the costing process, including calculating material and production costs

Negotiate with suppliers to maintain cost-effectiveness without compromising quality

Ensure all costs align with the agreed budget and margins

Material Sourcing & Consumption:

Liaise with fabric and trim department to ensure timely delivery and procurement of correct materials

Confirm fabric and material consumption are calculated correctly based on the order specification

Follow-up & Coordination:

Work closely with cross-functional teams Quality, Sampling, and Production to ensure seamless order execution

Address production issues, escalating critical concerns to management

Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with the QA team to ensure products meet the company and client quality standards

Ensuring the garment quality meets the client testing standards

Production Planning:

Develop and execute production schedules based on customer orders and forecast demand

Coordinate with the production team to allocate capacity and ensure planned cut date are met

Balance factory workloads for optimal efficiency

Customer Communication:

Serve as the point of contact for customers regarding orders, delays, and other production-related matters

Provide regular reports to customers, addressing any queries or issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field

3-5 years of experience in PPC or garment merchandising

Strong understanding of garment production processes, from development to shipment

ERP systems knowledge preferred, experience or knowledge in FIT software is an added advantage

Strong communication, negotiation, mailing and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Willing to take up challenging task

Ability to handle small orders and volume based orders

Job Location : Tiruppur

  • Salary : 30,000.00 per month and negotiable for the right candidate
