The Role
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Experience in preparation of datasheets, material requisition, evaluation of vendor offers and carry out vendor print review for pressure parts/tube supports and other Auxiliary items (e.g. Fans, Air-preheaters, Dampers, Expansion Joints, soot-blowers etc.).
- Sound Knowledge in of reviewing of General Arrangement drawings (including coil drawings) of Fired Heaters & Steam Methane Reformers w.r.t API heater datasheets & API
- Hands on experience in carrying out pressure parts calculations (API530, ASME Sec I, ASME Sec VIII, ASME B31.3, ASME B 31.1), cast tube support calculation/design.
- Participation in 3D model reviews and Package Hazop review meetings.
- Extensive Knowledge of International Codes and Standards and their applicability.
- Excellent command over written & spoken English.
- Co-ordinate and Resolving Discipline engineering issues.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards within the boundaries of the asset basis of design.
Minimum Qualification : BE / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Total Years of Experience : 12 to 15 years
