Job Description:
- Part of the Campaigns marketing team, the Campaigns and Performance Marketing Manager will provide ongoing marketing support driving performance focused marketing for priority campaigns, with the goal of generating demand and fueling the growth of our products and solutions globally.
- The role will deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that engage target audiences in our key markets (US, UK/EMEA and APAC), and aimed at raising brand awareness and generating demand for State Street's capabilities. Delivering on effective digital and performance marketing strategies for each campaign with the intent to capturing high quality marketing qualified leads is strategic to the role.
- The incumbent will be required to work collaboratively with marketing campaign leads, customer insights and analytics, marketing channel leads and, third-party contractors or agencies to deliver projects according to plan.
- The role will be based in Bengaluru and suitable to hybrid working, combining work from home and work from office, with work from the office expected 3-4 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will work closely with campaign leads, marketing channels (such as digital services, customer insights and analytics etc. ) and our digital media agency to develop end-to-end performance marketing and account-based marketing strategies for our key campaigns, including, but not limited to, search engine marketing, paid social media promotions, other paid media and partnerships (such as Savvy Investor). The role will also require the candidate to develop and maintain content across various social media platforms.
- Work closely with the Account Based Marketing (ABM) and Coverage teams to customize global campaign content asserts to meet the needs of the ABM accounts. Demand and Lead generation strategy (and execution on related plans) is an important aspect of this role.
- Develop and curate engaging online (webpages/ social media) content based on campaign requirements, working with the relevant business stakeholders and Global Marketing colleagues.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget by working closely with partner agencies and internal colleagues to implement, optimize and report on performance.
- Measure effectiveness and ROI of marketing activity and optimize campaigns based on target engagement with a goal of identifying and scaling best practices.
- Partner closely with content, digital and design teams to ensure performance marketing channels deliver a consistent voice in a highly effective, engaging, and responsive manner across devices.
- Monitor and keep up to date on industry standards as they relate to digital marketing.
- Work with internal marketing channels and approved external vendors - managing a dedicated marketing budget - to deliver marketing services. This will include the creation of insights and thought leadership content, marketing and sales collateral, advertising creative, paid media promotion, paid and organic social media promotion etc.
- Operate as part of a global marketing team, which will at times require working outside standard office hours.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements
- Business level fluency in English is vital along with strong English writing skills and a good knowledge of communications best practices.
- Experience in developing both large-scale and performance marketing strategies and implementing these through multi-channel marketing programs.
- Able to research local digital marketing trends and collaborate with campaign managers to advise on tactics that resonate with relevant target audiences. Then to work with internal channels and external vendors to promote suitable content aligned to these themes.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from all disciplines, backgrounds, and cultures across different time zones.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Must be a highly motivated and energetic self-starter who is able to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven hybrid work environment-both independently and as a dedicated team member.
- Able to work both face to face with colleagues and key stakeholders, as well as operating remotely, as part of a hybrid work environment.
- Experience operating in a complex, global organization with matrix reporting lines and multiple stakeholders would be advantageous.
Education and Experience:
- University level education
- 10+ years of experience in marketing campaign management and/or marketing-related fields like marketing communications/ account-based marketing /demand gen marketing etc.
- Experience working across multiple regions in a multi-national corporation, preferably within financial services.
