Role Summary & Objective:
The Analytics Specialist is a key role within the studio team. The role focuses on supporting the Director of Performance to enhance the analytics proposition. You will set up and use Analytics tools to investigate customer journeys and behaviour.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Be able to draw insights from data and expose clearly to clients
- Leverage data effectively and gain valuable insights to support our outputs
- Hands-on implementation of clients analytics accounts, including properties, user management, dashboards, and reporting
- Be the source of truth
- Analyse data from multiple sources using Data Analytics tools
- Assist in monitoring and implementing analytic and marketing tags
- Analyse and report on test results, communicating actionable insights to clients
- Work collaboratively with the other departments ensuring a collaborative, complementary approach between the different services
Main activities:
GA4:
- Understand the interface & key features
- Advanced tracking (events, engagement, custom dimensions, cross domain)
- Create easily and quickly custom reports, dashboards, segments
- Up to date with latest changes and requirements - e.g. Google Consent Mode v2
Google Tag Manager:
- Set up and configure GTM containers
- Deploy GA4 tracking tags and conversion pixels
- Create and manage triggers, variables, tags
- Track user interactions and events accurately
- Debugging tools and best practices
- Understanding of cookie control configuration - based on Google Consent Mode v2 requirements
Data visualisation tools:
- Create and customise easily and quickly dashboards, reports, visualisations
- Use Looker Studio
Problem solving:
- Troubleshoot tracking issues, discrepancies, data inconsistencies across platforms
Insights & Strategy:
- Provide insights to build strong client strategies
- Be the point of reference for data-driven decisions
- Inform campaign tracking and KPIs framework
- Support with pitches
