This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with counterparts in the US, contribute to key business initiatives, and mentor junior designers.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- 4+ years of experience in leading UX teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Experience working in a SAAS environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams across different time zones.
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, with experience overseeing and coaching junior designers.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Proven track record of driving design initiatives and delivering successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly to change, and prioritize tasks effectively.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with counterparts in the US to drive the design vision and strategy for our products.
- Lead the expansion of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products and platforms.
- Iterate on ideas through prototyping, user testing, and feedback loops to deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences.
- Support developers through the design handoff process, ensuring accurate implementation of designs and maintaining design integrity.
- Act as a player-coach, overseeing and mentoring a team of junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering their growth.
- Champion user-centric design principles and advocate for the importance of design in driving business success.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts and engineers to align on design goals and priorities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design processes and outputs.
