The Senior Manager ( Technology Adoption) is a highly skilled subject matter expert in software and technology lifecycle management in the Client Success organisation, who guides a group of Software Lifecycle Specialists ( SLS) responsible for building and maintaining the client relationship to drive value realization for the client's software estate and increase lifetime value for the organization. As the primary software post-sale point of contact for clients, the SLS drives client-facing activity aligned to the Software Lifecycle Specialist charters of Adoption, Expansion, and Renewal of software and software defined technology.
What You'll Be Doing
Job Description - Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, co-ordinate and execute technology adoption programs in consultation with regional Client Success leadership and country Client Success leadership.
- Interface with regional and country leadership in Sales, Service Delivery, Consulting and Solution Architecture to facilitate collaboration between teams for technology adoption and influence outcomes.
- Be responsible for providing practice leadership for the SLS in their role as the clients trusted advisor for software, helping the clients realize value from their relationship with the organization and ensuring the client's relationship experience is a positive one.
- Be accountable for the deployment and adoption of the software investments for AP / country clients as assigned.
- Create Software / Technology Success Plan templates to help accelerate software usage and feature adoption aligned to defined use cases.
- Develop program management templates and tools as required for managing outcomes and operational objectives decided by the business.
- Develop adoption playbooks / run books to demonstrate and institutionalise the implementation and completion of use cases and continuous adoption of the features of the software.
- Ensure adoption plans are updated and regular business review meetings are held to demonstrate value to the client.
- Drive regular training programs with the SLS team.
- Identify opportunities to upsell, cross sell and expand Software offerings as well as ensure the uptake of company service offers.
- Be responsible for tracking and reporting success metrics back into the company and its vendors.
- Ensure that the Vendor Activation and Lifecycle Incentives and other similar rebates are tracked, claimed and realized.
- Drive partnership with the Client Success Managers to ensure successful renewals of software.
- Document case studies, guide the team to develop reference clients and build a strong client advocacy portfolio.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Hands-on deployment and consulting experience with CISCO DNA / DCN / DCC / ISE / Stealthwatch / Thousand Eyes / Collaboration software suites with large enterprise clients is required, with either DNA or DCN/DCC as a must.
- Experience in deploying software defined environments of Palo Alto / HPE / F5 / Checkpoint / Juniper and other infrastructure providers will be desirable, but not essential.
- Should possess a good understanding of software licencing frameworks and Enterprise Agreements for CISCO , others are desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships up to CXO levels.
- Extended abilities in account planning, stakeholder mapping and management techniques.
- Extended ability to interpret a client's business strategy/plans and understand opportunities for solutions/services offered by the organization.
- Extended knowledge of company's offers and services, including the core functionality and features, linkage within organization's service portfolio, pricing structures, client benefits.
- Extended ability to provide an external industry viewpoint (including industry insights, technology trends, and competitor landscape) and to highlight company's expertise and differentiated offerings and position partnership offerings with the client.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) coupled with good questioning skills.
- Extended ability to interpret complex data/reports, derive business insights and define relevant operating responses.
- Extended understanding of organization's approach to Software Lifecycle Management, including the strategic direction and operating model.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Tertiary level qualification in engineering / computer science or equivalent technical qualifications
- Certification in CISCO technologies and CX
- Additional relevant vendor certifications would be advantageous
Required Experience :
- SME in software lifecycle management with at least 12 years of consulting / lifecycle management / technology deployment experience in enterprise software defined infrastructure in on-premise, hybrid cloud and Xaas environments.
- Extended demonstrable experience in an IT Services company managing technology lifecycle programs.
- Extended demonstrable experience in a client-facing role in consulting / lifecycle management / technology deployment
- Should have preferably managed a team of software specialists focusing on adoption or displayed strong managerial ability in adoption.
