Senior Manager Supplier Quality EV Chassis System

Purpose of the Role

Responsible for Delivery management of EV Chassis systems to meet Cost, Quality and Delivery targets.

Job Responsibility

Ownership of End-to-End development and Delivery of Chassis systems

Work with various stake holders to drive the strategy of Chassis systems and its execution

Ensuring key business inputs are considered and understood to drive the localization strategies and execution

Supporting new programs with timely delivery of aggregates to meet the program expectations in terms of cost, quality and time.

Develop the parts using latest technologies & Systems to meet the First Time Right Products

Develop Agreement of Inspection & Improve supplier Cost of Quality by optimising the inspection NVA.

Monitor & improve supplier parts PPM /Vendor Parts Quality through Supplier site process & Product audits

Develop & drive Quality maturation for step through improvements in Build and Craftsmanship

Conduct Manufacturing Site assessments and expedite ECN implementations. Setting up In-house and Supplier Quality systems and

processes, carry out APQP, PPAP / Phase-wise PPAP / Run @ Rate

Establish CTQ parameters and monitor adherence

Internal Head of CoC Review Technology roadmap of CoC Review NPI Project progress Review Quality and VAVE progress

Chief Engineer Review project progress and delivery as per Gen 3 NPI. Drive decision on Inter-CoC topics.

Product Line Project Manager Review & Finalise Feature Content of project Review time and cost adherence.

VATS Team Review Attribute Featuring, arbitrate conflicting attributes, prioritise, Sign-off attributes and ensure compliance.

Purchase Team Support MSA and Supplier capability assessment for Sourcing strategy finalization.

Design Expedite TRSO and DFM deliverables to achieve run at rate and Quality targets Intra-Departmental Review progress of Chassis system development dependencies Manufacturing Sign-off manufacturing process, new product manufacturability and new technology development in manufacturing. Service and Customer Support Sign-off service process, new product serviceability requirements VAVE Finalise VAVE ideas for implementation and review progress.

External Suppliers and Consultants Understand new technology roadmap for Chassis and Safety systems Review part development progress. Critical issue management Understand new technology roadmap. Understand Systems and dependencies required for introduction of new technology.

Engineering Service Providers Engage for new competency and capacity extension. Review technology and project progress.

Desired Candidate Profile

Thorough knowledge of manufacturing process & Software development of Chassis & Safety Systems

Relevant experience of development of Chassis systems

Knowledge of DVPs & Testing specification

Knowledge in Homologation & Crash standard

Should have knowledge and understanding of Component Tooling and manufacturing processes

Start-to-finish parts ownership: Specification, prototype manufacturing, component validation

Should be able to do tolerance stack up GDT

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in matrix structure

Ability to adopt to the changes happening in this space

Self-drive, self-sufficient with minimum guidance, team player

Problem Solving Expertise to Eliminate Chronic Problems

Ability to effectively influence and motivate others and work effectively with all levels of people inside and outside of the organization.
