What youll do:
As an Engineering Manager you would be leading a team to design, develop, implement and document to produce highest standard of deliverables.
Interact with Sams cross functional engineering teams such as cloud, platform, analytics etc. across geographies to leverage technical expertise and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) within the established architectural guidelines.
Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver great products.
Participate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams.
Lead a team of high performing engineers to innovate and delivery next gen solutions
What youll bring:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or related discipline and experience of 12-19 years core software product development experience.
Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and databases.
Full stack development, clean code practitioner, must know SOLID and other design principles, hands on with various object-oriented design patterns.
Deep experience in Java/Spring technologies to design and develop robust, high-performance and scalable applications for use within the Walmart product ecosystem.
Hands on experience with RESTful services, Microservices development and techniques to unit test and integration test.
CI-CD knowledge and working experience on any cloud platform.
Minimum 2 years of Engineering Management leading at least 1+ scrum team of 5-8 members or above
