nAre you looking to join a team that builds and manages foundational infrastructure and tools at a large scale Are you passionate about stability, reliability, scalability, and availability Are you seeking an environment where you can drive innovation and help provide application owning teams ship software in a seamless manner

nWhat you will do:

• nYou will be a technology leader on the Edge Platform team, responsible for providing traffic management, routing and self service tooling to the Expedia developer community.n

• You will advocate for performance, quality and reliability and install best practices in your team in all parts of the dev lifecycle.

• nCreate a positive work environment based on accountability and inclusiveness, in partnership with peers on the leadership team. Lead by example, mentor the team, and establish credibility through quality technical execution

• nPlay a key role in the analysis, design, architecture, development and stability of EG's Edge Platform.

• nDelivers and influences product roadmap, working in collaboration with product and other platform teams.

• nManage and lead the product development lifecycle to reduce time to market, improve product quality and ensure product success.

• nLead others in resolving technical issues in a timely manner; follow up with customers to ensure best possible experience for the platform users

• nPartner with the business to integrate new technologies into business solutions; create and communicate a vision of the technology requirements for the future state of the business

nWho you are:

• nSomeone who can make a startup team successful, with proven experience in leadership and team building across different locations

• nExcellent communication skills with stakeholders within the business

• n8+ years software development experience in enterprise software

• nThe utmost passion for both technology and leadership

• nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

• nExperience in delivering end to end software services

• nGood experience with programming languages and best practices for web development

• nExperience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS)

• nExpertise in agile software development methodologies and their adoption within teams, with a focus on resiliency and automation

• nExcellent organizational skills - able to translate between technical and business group, bring forward a vision or opinion

• nAbility to lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
