Job Description

The Opportunity

Being the Senior Manager_ Business Development of the product company, you will be

responsible for managing hardware and solution sales, driving business growth, and building

long-term relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a

proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing new business opportunities, and

managing high-performing teams. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Business

Development with a strong background in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance)

segment.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Strategic responsibilities:
  • Key account management amp; client relationship management: To handle the most

valuable clients. To manage the account, build strong relationships with the client, identify

challenges or opportunities, and find ways to assist with these challenges and opportunities

  • Develop synergies with business development and operations expertise to ensure smooth

execution

  • Building a hardware sales strategy in line with the business development goals for MicroATM,

Biometrics, Thermal Printers and POS Solution sales

  • Devise an in-depth Go To Market Strategy for existing or new products in collaboration with

other teams

  • Liaise and build relationships with regulators, influencers like UIDAI, NPCI, STQC etc.
  • Collaborative mind-set to work with experienced leaders in the software, product, business and

marketing teams

  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Build operational rigor within the team to meet the operational goals
  • Value based selling by bunding Software amp; Solutions in addition to hardware Sales
  • Innovative Business Sales Module amp; Value based Sales
  • Generating sales Pipelines, revenues amp; contributing to corporate sales strategy
  • Define optimal sales force structure

  • Business Development:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve

sales targets in the BFSI segment.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by analysing market trends and

customer needs.

  • Create and execute effective sales plans to expand the company #39;s market presence and

customer base.

  • Sales Management:
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high

conversion rate.

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and providing

ongoing coaching and support.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the BFSI industry.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and

ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Develop customized solutions to meet the specific requirements of clients in the BFSI

segment.

  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and

emerging technologies.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform business

strategies and product development.

  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and

customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

  • Collaborate with partners and vendors to enhance the company #39;s product and service

offerings.

  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market

conditions to senior management.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions

in the CRM system.

  • Headed a team or Part of Team as a senior member of developing a Fintech Product and/or

platform based on cutting edge future technologies

  • Part of any Technology Framework development like Biometrics, Payments, UPI , etc will be

added advantage

  • Proven track record for sales in Banks, MFIs, NBFC or Digital Financial services companies
  • Knowledge of Global fintech technologies and regulatory issues/compliance
  • Working experience with both product and services technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is

preferred.

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the

BFSI segment.

  • Proven track record of managing hardware and solution sales, achieving sales targets, and

driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of the BFSI industry, including its challenges, trends, and

regulatory environment.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire

a sales team.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
