Position Title: Senior Manager, R&D Wood Adhesives
Work Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai
Position Summary: Responsible for leading the R&D efforts in adhesive technology, driving innovation, and developing new products to meet market demands. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in adhesive chemistry, and a proven track record of successful product development within the
adhesive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply technical domain knowledge for the development of new products as identified by market insights, in close coordination with the Marketing/Sales Teams.
- Synthesis, Formulation & Testing of Emulsions for Adhesives especially Wood Working Glues.
- Coordinating with Plant for Pilot Trials & Production related activities.
- Cost-Reduction / Product Improvement.
- Design and monitor progress on application & testing of new products and modifications/enhancements of existing products.
- Establish procedures and processes in alignment with ISO certified standards.
- Partner with plant personnel for the successful scale-up of new products to be introduced in the designated markets.
- Provide the support and inputs for maintenance of lab records and related documents in digitize form.
- In partnership with the process engineering team, prepare the operating procedure and recipe in standard format for issuing it to plant.
- Identify and document hazard associated with Raw Materials, Process, Experimental & Finished Products.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Masters/PhD/M.Tech from reputed Institute in Polymer Chemistry.
- Experience: 10+ years relevant research experience.
- Proficiency in using digitize operation.
- Ability to think creatively and translate innovative ideas through execution.
