As a Lead Product Designer, youll take the helm in driving product innovation by creating exceptional user experiences for our Circles.X platform. Youll play a pivotal role working closely with product, technology and business leads to build a world-class B2B2X platform. This strategic position demands a blend of deep design expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex functionalities into intuitive experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process from user research to UX design and implementation across multiple workstreams
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, and Business to facilitate the discovery process and workshops, fostering alignment among teams on a shared vision
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Circles.X platform, ensuring that the design strategy aligns seamlessly with the overarching platform objectives
- Be data-driven and incorporate data analysis, and feedback through testing to validation of concepts and experience paradigm
- Manage design team in a fast-paced, changing environment with cross-team dependencies
- Bring product design thought leadership from a UX perspective
- Ensure design benchmarks/requirements are met across all types of products
- Optimize the design processes alongside design team to deliver platform outcomes
- Create an environment to inspire, push creativity, challenge established thinking, and identify industry best practices for user experience within the team
- An entrepreneurial spirit, flexible and quick at grasping new topics, and strong willingness to drive platform innovation
Qualifications:
- Design Leadership Experience and Expertise:
- 12+ years of experience as a product designer, ideally with exposure to both B2C and B2B space.
- Proven track record of designing and launching successful large-scale products and/or platforms.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in UI/UX best practices, design thinking, and the creation of engaging user interfaces and experiences.
- In-depth knowledge of responsive design principles for web and mobile applications.
- Experience in creating and implementing design management systems.
- Familiarity with user research methods like user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas to stakeholders across all levels.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, marketing).
- Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive design decisions and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Strong Business Acumen:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform design decisions and identify potential opportunities for innovation.
