We are seeking a Senior Manager - Procurement who will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services, as well as the maintenance of all physical assets within the organization.
This role requires strategic planning, negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of supply chain management
The incumbent will ensure that the organization's operational needs are met while adhering to budgetary constraints and maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality.
Having experience in Food Services Industry would be a advantage
Compensation Range: 6 Lpa to 7 Lpa ( Based on experience and expertise)
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
- Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Planning
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and reliability.
- Supplier Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
- Cost Management
- Develop and manage procurement budgets.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Monitor and report on procurement expenditure.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting procurement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 -6 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role from a food industry would be preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles, specifically related to an food industry
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
