Designation: Senior Manager

Base Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Head - Process Excellence

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to drive key Process transformations, Programs/Projects and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to join our team as aSenior Manager - Process Excellence. This role combines Process Transformation and project management expertise with the ability to oversee and manage the successful implementation of projects within our organization. This position will play a key role in optimizing our business processes, particularly in the areas of Freight Forwarding Operations, Customer & Vendor Master Data Management, and Finance. This position will be responsible for leading process reengineering efforts, integrating tools and technologies, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct process assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation using tools like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and data analytics platforms to streamline manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive the integration of key enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle) to ensure seamless data flow. Work closely with finance teams to optimize financial processes, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Ensure integration of finance tools for improved accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
  • Engage with cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and coordination of project activities.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the impact of process improvements and tool integrations. Ensure continuous tracking and reporting of operational performance.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and prepare reports on project progress, metrics, and outcomes.
  • Support Business units to Embed Continuous Improvement as part of their Day-to-Day business cycle.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on schedule, and within budget while meeting quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Implement project management best practices and methodologies to optimize project outcomes.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in process improvement, process excellence, or business process management roles, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or finance.
  • Strong expertise in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding Operations, Customer & Vendor Master Data Management, and Finance.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and make informed decisions.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or BPM is essential, and candidates with certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) or similar process improvement certifications will be highly desirable. PMP certification will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in tool and system integration, with hands-on experience in ERP (Oracle), Master Data Management (MDM), and automation platforms (e.g., RPA).
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to lead change initiatives and collaborate across departments.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and above.
  • Lean Six Sigma orPMP/PRINCE2 certification or other project management qualifications.
