Key Job Responsibilities
- New Product development and commercialization:
Utilize available market understanding and interpret consumer feedback for product design
Engage with CMI and drive product design to deliver min 58:42 win vs competition (target 60:40) in the market place.
New products development: Partner with business teams on developing and launching new product meeting agreed timelines.
Disruptive Innovation: Develop and launch disruptive cheese products that are first in the market and in turn to build competitive advantage.
Creating future pipe line of cheese products.
Building the partnership with Vendors and Business Partners to develop products.
Co-ordination and collaboration with co packers where required.
Evaluate process technologies and formulations aimed at increasing the group margins without compromising on product quality and consumer acceptability
Develop formulation with novel ingredients, avoiding short term and long term capital expenditure
Drive sustainability optimization programs in existing product range
In-depth understanding how to drive the R&D Product Development process i.e. Design, Development, Deliver in an efficient and agile manner
In-depth understanding of all aspects related to raw milk production, quality and processing in relation to Indian and International market.
In-depth understanding of all natural cheese (soft, semi-hard, hard, boutique) and process cheese manufacturing processes.
Technology transfer from development to commercial production i.e. docket, manual, SOP.
In-depth understanding of FSSAI regulations guiding cheese manufacturing.
Ensuring product claims, Regulatory requirements and ensuring Zero Damage to the Business and its continuity.
- Building product development and people Capability
Utilize current R&D facility and contribute to expansion and growth of the facility to deliver world class competitive products As an active team player support the product development team to grow and develop R&D innovation practices to enhance margins.
Introduce new and novel ingredients and processes to drive a market leadership status of products in the cheese portfolio
Education Qualification - Masters in Dairy science

Experience (yrs) - 10 to 15 Years in Dairy / Cheese development and scale up. We are keen to meet with candidates with a strong understanding and well established track record in designing and developing bulk natural cheese, boutique and process cheese types
