Primary Responsibilities include:
- Drive complete Order fulfilment & Inventory Management for the Machining COE
- Co-ordinate between , Internal /External Customers , Suppliers & Shop Operations to arrive at an effective manufacturing and delivery plan.
- Develop production schedule to meet customer demands, drive material requirements, and communicate with customers on delivery schedules
- Understand critical path of the supply chain to identify actions to shorten delivery lead-time to support customer orders
- Identify and manage bottleneck / shop capacity opportunities.
- Lead material management & OTR team defining critical parts in advance buy in order keep correct service level and to meet inventory targets.
- Timely update and release daily, weekly, and monthly metrics charts and focus on measures of performance to meet delivery performance targets
- Provide effective scheduling and implementation of all programs based on the Master Schedule, cycle time, shop capacity, hardware / tooling availability
- Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional groups and across shifts to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues, and shop capacity
- Analyzes inventory reports for FG, RM , WIP inventory reports and drive improvement in inventory turns & improving cash flow.
- Define Production planning, capacity planning attributes in Oracle to generate accurate production plan
- Understand CNC machining business model & line balancing methods for effective utilization & shop loading.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum 12 Years of experience in a Supply chain role.
- Ability to analyze problems and to handle diverse activities simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document and execute programs.
- Proficiency in associated manufacturing systems (Oracle, Tableau).
