Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Manager MICE (Operations & Contracting). The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations and contracting for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events. They will coordinate with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth event execution and deliver exceptional experiences.
Job Description- Sales & Contracting
As Sr. Manager MICE, key responsibilities would be to deliver best in class experience to customers through sales & contracting channel, keeping in mind the following:
- Will be responsible to develop an in depth understating of client requirements and pitch solutions accordingly in form of prescribed formats i.e., deck ppt, pdf, estimates in prescribed excel formats etc.
- Will be responsible for retention of extant customers & expanding the relationship with existing customers by continuously proposing MICE product solutions that meet their objectives through sales channel.
- Will be responsible for Contracting with MICE facilities at domestic & international locations.
- Will be responsible for signing MOU's/SLAs/Similar for all projects with relevant channels.
- Will be responsible to ensure conversion of domestic & international project leads through various channels.
- Will be responsible to stick with compliance and adhere to operating procedures defined for MICE.
- Will be responsible to act as a main point of contact for MICE between key clients and internal teams.
- Will be responsible for financial closure of projects in accordance with determined pre/post procedures for MICE.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in event operations and contracting for MICE events
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
- Knowledge of the Mumbai event industry and local suppliers is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
