Carry out Mechanical equipment group activities such as Basic engineering packages, detailed engineering.
Should have hands on experience in preparation / updation of technical specifications, datasheets for various Rotating equipment based on project specific requirement
Vendor offer evaluation and technical bid analysis for equipment and packages
Independently preparing equipment layout for warehouse areas, process areas and utility areas based on project specific requirement- with the help of draftsman
He should have executed project as Lead Engineer and responsible for the proper and timely execution.
He should be able to manage multiple projects as Lead Engineer and responsible for the proper and timely execution.
He is also responsible for ensuring that the Dept./Disciplines quality management system is followed taking into account any special contractual requirements.
Effective coordination with projects, piping, civil, electrical and instrumentation during design execution
Timely completion of documents and drawing and getting approval from client
Should have involved in development and implementation of activities such the latest technology and methods to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity for the department.
Qualifications:-
Mechanical Engineering degree is a must. Minimum 20 year in Mechanical Department of a consultancy organization or technical services department of a FMCG / Pharmaceutical / Chemical plant.
Must have understanding and ability to understand process P&IDs and instruments.
Must have knowledge on utilities, water systems, rotary equipment, process equipment, pumps, CIP, hygienic design
Should have working knowledge of warehouse equipment, process equipment in FMCG, food, pharmaceutic.
Should have knowledge on utilities system such as cooling water system, Boilers, Compressed Air and Instrument Air system, Nitrogen system etc. Knowledge on tankages
Must have good communication skills and Coordinate with Client, Vendors / Suppliers and other engineering disciplines
Have good understanding of requirements of the downstream groups like piping / instrumentation / mechanical etc.
To ensure hygiene design is built into equipment designs.
Good communication skills, verbal and written so as to communicate with client and lead offices.
Good team member and have the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, have customer focus
Awareness of software like AutoCAD , Nawis Works etc.
Should have leadership qualities and able to lead and guide a group of engineers
Understanding of Project requirements like productivity/ schedule workhour control etc.
Participation in safety reviews such as HAZOP, SIL etc.
Participation in 3D model reviews
Experience in preparation of FEED documents, PMC projects, etc.
Exposure to national, international codes and standards
