We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and managing various legal matters within OnePlus India.
Job Responsibilities
- Company Secretary: Handle and manage all company and its related party secretarial issues.
- Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to the business filed of the Company. Enforcement of compliance strategy of the Group in the Company, as well as advisory and interpretation services in relation to and SOP as required.
- Dispute Resolution: Handle and manage various dispute resolution matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, employment issues, consumer complaints, legal metrology cases, and any criminal matters that may arise. Work closely with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business contracts, ensuring that they align with OnePlus India's best interests. Develop and implement contract management policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Liaising with governmental officials on compliance matters. Represent company and other senior officials of the Company in front of the Judicial/Quasi Judicial/ State authorities.
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Oversee the enforcement of intellectual property rights and take action against counterfeit products and oppositions. Safeguard OnePlus India's trademarks through proactive measures.
- Legal Training and Compliance Awareness: Conduct legal training sessions for OnePlus India employees to increase awareness of legal issues, compliance requirements, and best practices. Promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Ad Hoc Legal Tasks: Handle other legal matters and tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time, providing legal advice and support to various departments as needed.
Job Requirement
- 8-15 Years of working experience in both Company Secretary and corporate legal work.
- Qualified as Company Secretary.
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry preferred.
- Should be good at cross-department coordination with strong communication skills.
