Senior Manager - India Health, Safety and Sustainability

About your team

The Health, Safety and Sustainability (HSS) team operates globally sitting within the wider Corporate Property Services function. The HSS team helps fidelity to conduct current and future business operations in a sustainable manner which helps create a safe and healthy work environment and better future for the environment.

The wider Corporate Property Services (CPS) function build, operate and manage flexible, efficient, safe, productive, resilient, environmentally friendly and cost-effective workplaces. CPS provide services such as catering and hospitality, real estate planning, design and construction, engineering, security, travel, post, and corporate analytics. CPS comprises Corporate Services, Operational & Technical Security, Travel, Health, Safety & Sustainability and Corporate Real Estate.

About your role

The Regional Health, Safety and Sustainability Senior Manager - India will be responsible for the implementation of the FIL Health, Safety and Sustainability Management System within region. The Regional Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager - India will also support the Global Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the Global Health, Safety and Sustainability Management System.

Must have skills:

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health and/or Sustainability Qualification (and at least some experience in field where qualification is not held)
• ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ISO45003 HSS Management System implementation experience
• Knowledge of HSS legal requirements and compliance

Good to have:

• ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ISO45003 Lead auditor certification
• Experience in GHG Accounting/Reporting/Net Zero Targets
• Knowledge of Sustainability reporting requirements including the EcoVardis, TCFD, CDP and CSRD
