Planful is rapidly growing and to continue the record-breaking success we've seen, we're looking for a seasoned Senior Manager - HRBP for our India Team. Reporting directly to the Director of People Operations, this Senior Manager will oversee all people-related initiatives and operations in our India entity while leading and managing strategies that align with Planful s business objectives and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day HR activities, policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations needed to run an effective team in India.
- Lead and manage HR functions, emphasizing compliance and operational efficiency.
- Ensure efficient and effective HR operations, including HRIS management, data integrity, and reporting.
- Strong experience with HR practices and employee management. Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and a positive organizational culture.
- Drive culture, engagement, and understanding, alongside ensuring we maintain internal pay parity and transparency. Implement programs and initiatives that foster teamwork, collaboration, and a sense of purpose.
- Drive business engagement and implementation across all areas of the HR agenda, spearhead all HR initiatives and change projects ensuring key stakeholder management locally and globally thus, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Partner with senior management and leaders (Executives, SVPs, VPs & Directors) to actively engage with teams in understanding the business objectives, challenges, opportunities and facilitate solutions.
- Collaborate with leaders/senior management to develop and track key talent and ensure experience-based development and retention.
- Provide guidance and support in handling employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Talent Advocate - partnering across Total Rewards, People Operations, People Development, Talent Acquisition, and the business to ensure we're setting people up for success from their onboarding through their experience.
- Strategic - workforce planning while balancing intentional organizational design with hyper-growth headcount plans and constant change.
- Change Management - managing change across the business, through communication, advocacy, collaboration, and planning. Drive initiatives that support the business in innovation and growth objectives.
- Project Management - managing complex and scaling programs, serving as the key connector between the business and the People team, as we'll as functional teams such as Finance, IT, Legal and others that we must partner with to deliver programs and processes within the business.
Qualifications: - 10+ years of HR experience preferably in a SaaS company deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align people strategies with organizational goals
- Analytical and goal oriented, demonstrate strong experience with HR metrics and market intel
- Experience in fast growth culture. Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly to change, and drive results
- Able to deliver quality results with challenging but collaborative influencing style
- Leveraging your deep experience as an HRBP and subject matter expertise in the people domain to proactively foster the future of work and building programs to engage, retain and develop our people throughout their careers
- Proactive in nature, ability to problem solve
