- Experience gained from working with consulting firms think tanks, donor/development agencies, research organizations, or government bodies (preferably with international exposure).
- Significant tenure in roles related to development and social sector initiatives.
- Preferably engaged with State or Central government entities.
- Demonstrated expertise in consultancy, research, or policy formulation within the sector.
- Valuable insight was acquired from collaborating with diverse stakeholders in the field.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Extensive background in the development and social sector through roles with consulting firms think tanks, donor/development agencies, research organizations, and national or international governments.
- Proficient in conceptualizing, designing, and executing nutrition programs.
- Possesses technical proficiency in nutrition and related social sector programs.
- Well-versed in the donor landscape, key stakeholders, and pertinent government policies/strategies concerning nutrition.
- Demonstrates strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, along with adept research abilities (both primary and secondary).
- Exhibits intellectual curiosity and a deep passion for the social and development sector.
Experience in the following functional areas:
- Public Health Nutrition-centric programs
- Collaborating with diverse partners and government counterparts to develop, execute, monitor, and evaluate program activities.
- Formulating strategies and public policies for social welfare programs.
- Competent in policy and management aspects.
- Proficient in project management and business development.
- Possesses existing relationships with governmental bodies, multilateral agencies, donor agencies, think tanks, and industry, which is considered advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Preferred qualifications include a professional degree in healthcare, such as MD or MPH.
- Graduation in medicine or related fields is highly desirable.
- An MBA in Healthcare is also considered advantageous.
