nPosition Summary

nThe Commercialization IT GenAI Content Pod Lead will lead/manage an offshore team accountable for the end-to-end delivery and support of AI-enabled Content Capability & Orchestration solutions for the BMS Commercialization function to enable their business goals/objectives.
- nAlign with the BU stakeholders & Commercialization IT - Integrated Content Delivery, Marketing, Business Insight & Analytics, and Channel Delivery Leads to support all technology platform & applications including integrations with internal/external systems.
- nThe POD Lead will closely partner with onshore IT functional leads (strategy and delivery), IT Service Providers (Accenture), Application Vendors (Adobe, Veeva, Salesforce), various BMS IT teams (Cyber Security, External Partner, Data Privacy Office) and other functions like WCE to deliver new or enhanced Content capabilities as well as ensure proper ongoing operations with robust SLAs & reporting mechanisms.
- nThe IT POD Lead would be accountable for the successful delivery of IT solutions, services & ongoing operations, the support of technology roadmaps, reporting metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiencies, effectiveness in operations. In partnership with onshore IT Leads, helps manage strategic relationships with Business Capability Owners, IT Product Leads, IT Service Managers and IT Service Providers.
nKey Responsibilities
- nAccountable for build and run operations associated with GenAI Content Platform solutions across channels.
- nResponsible for product vision, strategy, and roadmap; from concept to end of life.
- nCreate product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, business requirements.
- nTranslate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and solution development by build teams.
- nCollaborate closely with business, marketing, and build teams in the development, testing, and release of products, and balance resources and work to ensure success.
- nEnsuring content platforms are supported and updated for product launches and/or migrations due to acquisitions
- nAnalyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from a build vs buy perspective.
- nAssist in developing business case for investments by providing effort and cost estimation.
- nRuns pilot programs and regularly reviews completed work and checks with business to ensure that it meets the user expectations.
- nRecruit, train, and manage the product team, and ensure the team is motivated thru learning, growth opportunities. Provide technical thought leadership and help with highlighting pros/cons during design sessions.
- nClosely partner with onshore IT Leads, IT Business Partnering, IT Service Integration and Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment.
- nAssists in developing strategic and collaborative partnerships with Content Platform solution vendors and service providers.
- nPartner with a matrixed IT organization to ensure that all IT functions are successful in their delivery of services. Key matrix IT partner functions include enterprise and data architecture, cyber security, application support & maintenance, program management, information & data management, collaboration services and infrastructure services.
- nAssist in defining 3-year digital capability roadmaps in line with business roadmap & enterprise architecture strategy, focusing on speed, quality, & cost.
nQualifications & Experience
- n10+ years of hands-on experience leading content management solutions across personal (Field Content on Veeva) & non-personal (Web, Mobile, Social, ChatBot etc.) customer engagement channels.
- nDemonstrated success in defining and launching software products that meet and exceed business objectives.
- nExcellent relationship management & collaboration/communication skills to build strong partnerships across a matrix organization.
- nKnowledge of orchestrating content from the creation to publishing process within BMS MarTech foundational ecosystem.
- nAbility to formulate visionary transformation thru use of GENAI (+) tools and amplify the need for personalization based on data driven insights for superior customer experience.
- nDemonstrated experience in working with technical team with skills - AI/ML; data scientists, web development frameworks like Bootstrap, React, Angular & programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 etc; UI/UX, integration mechanisms across batch and real time integrations using AWS Glue, Informatica, WebMethods, Mulesoft etc.
- nProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- nDeep knowledge & experience in designing, developing and deploying Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS) & Medical, Legal & Regulatory (MLR) review capabilities/systems.n
- Demonstrated experience in content solutions like Veeva Vault - PromoMats & MedComms, Adobe Experience Manager - Assets & Sites. Strong knowledge of content authoring tools is a bonus.
- nDeep analytical skills and logical thinking to design new solutions & identify and resolve technical issues that may arise for existing solutions.
- nExperience with application support/maintenance as well as troubleshooting application bugs, & data related issues.
- nExperience with Project Management and leading projects to completion. Familiar with agile and scrum methodologies
- nExperience with people management & especially leading offshore development/testing teams to deliver on business objectives
- nExperience with creating business process flows, application workflows and architectural diagrams
- nUnderstanding of infrastructure setups and managing deployments ranging with varying complexities.
- nStrong knowledgeable of Project Security Reviews, Application Vulnerability Assessments, Data Privacy Reviews and Data Privacy policy
- nBackground working in or with a regulated industry is a plus
- nExperience with service support ticketing and configuration management such as JIRA and ServiceNow is a plus
