Position Overview
Senior Manager-Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the
company. Senior Manager will oversee the finance department, establish financial strategies, manage
financial risks, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role requires an experienced financial
leader with a deep understanding of the textile industry, including its unique challenges and
opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth and profitability.
- Prepare and oversee the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Monitor financial performance against the budget and long-term goals.
- Present financial reports to senior management and the board, explaining key variances and
trends.
- Capital Management:
- Manage the company's capital structure and funding requirements.
- Optimize cash flow and working capital management.
- Oversee investment strategies and decisions to maximize returns.
- Cost Control and Efficiency:
- Implement cost control measures to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze production costs and develop strategies to enhance profitability.
- Work closely with the operations team to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and manage risk transfer mechanisms.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a robust internal control environment.
- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee internal audits and implement recommendations to improve controls.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and high performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the finance department.
- Collaborate with other department heads to achieve the company's financial objectives.
Qualifications And Skills
- Education & Experience:
- CA with 5-7 years of experience preferably in manufacturing,exports or textile companies
- Proven experience in the textile, import & export or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies.

- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
