Preparing the annual vendor onsite audit plan as per the risk assessment done by the IA, defining the frequency of audit.
Audit Assignment to the team.
Team review for the audit findings..
Audit report closure with the regional and function heads.
Accompany the audit team during the audit of large vendor sites.
Governance
Sharing the detailed audit report covering all the risks identified during the audits with the functions.
Ensure closure of gaps/risks identified during the audit and validation of the same.
Reporting the delays in open gaps/risks items to the management.
Ensure applicable labor law compliances at vendor end to safeguard against the company liability risk as principal employer.
Ensure timely closure of audits and adherence to the Audit Plan submitted to the management.
Quality Management
Review the reports and validate the findings before reporting to management to ensure quality of audit findings.
Ensure adherence to the approved audit policy and process frameworks.
Ensure adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines.
Imparting training & continuous team feedback for improving the team skills.
Ensure complete record maintenance of all the audit working papers for later reference and quality assurance reviews.
Collaboration
Regular vendor managers (FTE) interactions sensitizing them about the risks/trends identified during the audit.
Industry peer review and adoption of best practices.
Conducting regular interactive sessions with regional teams sensitizing about the changing regulatory environments, audit scope and how teams can do self-audit to eliminate surprise lapses later.
Tracking and consuming the process level changes related to vendors for making the necessary changes in audit checks and value statements.
Financial
Identify the financial leakage risks and close the same with functional teams to save the financial losses.
Identify the avenues for cost savings during audit and share the same with functional teams for implementation and cost saving.
Do the PSA process audit for NFTE payout calculations and reimbursements, highlight the gaps if any for recovery by the function.
